The influences of coating materials on the temperature distribution in the cutting tools were investigated.
After the mathmatical analysis,the results obtained from two kinds of coating materials are shown in Fig.2.
From Fig.2, comparision between KCU10 cutting tools (first coating layer materials is TiAlN) and KT315 cutting tools (first coating layer materials is TiN), there is a temperature difference on the tool rake face.
