Pitarresi et al. [6] have further investigated the thermoelastic effect of GFRP materials, and proposed some analytical models taking account for the resin rich layer influence while linking the thermoelastic signal to the local stress components on the outter GFRP surface, which under the adiabatic condition is regard as only one affecting the measure.
