The smelters of Yunnan Tin Group accept various materials with a tin grade ranging from 3% to 68%.
It is a common practice to remove material less than 10μm in size from tin concentrate feeds and direct this material to the tailings [4].
For the ore containing a large amount of slime, ore washing operation shall be conducted before the material enters to the grinding mill, followed by coarse and fine fractions to be processed individually

Fig. 1 System formed from two Halback circuits
Starting from the idea of getting a maximum value of transverse magnetic field we optimized the Halback structure by determining the optimal dimensions of the permanent magnets, for a minimum volume of magnetic material used(the magnetic material chosen was NdFeB).
Analyzing the graph in figure 2b, we can state that the interesting points are only those in which the value of magnetic induction is found in the range (0.9-1.025T), considering the value of 0.9T as the minimum necessary, and over the value of 1.05T it is observed the fact that the volume of magnetic material used grows exponentially while the magnetic field strength has a very small increase.

Abstract.
The relative standard (RSD) of 6 analyses of a 20 µg/ml TRIS reference material was 3.2%, indicating the method has a higher precision.
