Great advances have emerged in recent years around additive manufacturing techniques, with an increasing number of different materials (polymers, ceramics, metals).
Although 3D printers can currently manufacture in a wide range of materials (metals, polymers, ceramics, etc.), metal AM techniques have always been in high demand mainly due to their ability to create final functional parts with good mechanical properties.

Interest about bio-based materials is increasing for most researchers and engineers in the field of civil engineering.
Hygroscopic materials often exhibit a hysteresis loop, implying that the moisture content at the same relative humidity is different whether the material is wetting or drying.

This led to a situation that the old item-bank cannot adapt to the new materials and it only has to be discarded or create a new one
Students achieve not only the learning results but also an in-depth study by finding the mistakes of tests and re-studying the materials, which they are not familiar with.
