Bending properties of three-layer biaxial weft knitted fabric reinforced composite materials Yexiong Qi1,a, Jialu Li1,b, Liangsen Liu1 1Composites Research Institute of Tianjin Polytechnic University & Tianjin and Education Ministry Key Laboratory of Advanced Textile Composite Materials, Tianjin 300160, China aemail:qi_ye_xiong@163.com, bfhcls@tjpu.edu.cn Keyword: Three-layer biaxial weft knitted fabric, composite materials, bending strength, bending modulus Abstract.
The bending properties of the TBWK fabric reinforced composite materials with different fiber volume fraction have been investigated.
Mostly, soft yarn with finer yarn count (5 ~ 50tex), high fracture strength and high shear strength, is used as knitting yarn, such as polyester, Kevlar and other materials.
