NPP calculation and analysis To simulate patterns in NPP, we used the CASA model version described by Potter et al. [14], which is based on the concept of light-use efficiency from Monteith [15].
NPP with value over 200gC. m-2.a-1 was mainly distributed in the southeastern source region of Yellow River; however, region located nearby Eling lake and Zaling lake in source region of Yellow river was low.
NPP increased and decreased regions coexisted around Eling lake and Zaling lake and CR was -10% - 20%.
