Titanium and its alloys are one group of engineering materials that are being widely used in industries because of their specific chemical, physical and mechanical properties.
The presence of intermetallic phases in the reaction zone was confirmed by X ray diffraction using a Bruker D8 Advance X-ray diffractometer with copper target operated at voltage 40 kV and current 30 mA.
