Abstract: An improved Adler pre-mixed method based on a TFA-catalyzed condensation reaction between aldehydes and pyrroles was developed to synthesize a series of nitro-functionalized A3B-type tetraphenylporphyrins, and all the structures of A3B-type tetraphenylporphyrins were characterized by melting point analysis, electronic absorption spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy, high-resolution mass spectroscopy, 1H NMR spectroscopy, and elemental analysis.
Porphyrin compounds have planar and conjugated structures, and exhibit strong absorption in visible and near infrared region.
In recent years, porphyrin compounds with various structures have been extensively used as sensitizers for DSCs [3,6].
The nitro-functionalized A3B-type tetraphenylporphyrins (A3B-TPP) compounds give their special asymmetrical structures in the porphyrin macro ring and could be modified directly by other functional groups, which can be used as important precursors to make them applicable in DSCs.

Since the SiO2 incorporates the catalyst particles and has a skeleton form, the increasing of BET surface area and pore volume may be caused by the structure of the catalyst with the addition of SiO2.
However, it also caused partial activity centers were covered by SiO2 for its framework structure in catalysts.

Results and discussion Structure and Morphology of Titania Nanotube Arrays after ALIM.
The observed XRD pattern is in concordance with the existing standard JCPDS (01-1029) data of CaSiO3, showing main peaks for TiO2 and broad peaks for CaSiO3, indicating the coating deposited on the top of the TNTs after ALIM treatment shows the crystalline structure of calcium silicate.
