Given constant material properties, the method solved temperature and thermal stress fields approximately with linear superposition theory.
Furthermore, the method can only deal with constant material properties.
By neglecting the temperature dependency of the material, the accuracy of the results becomes questionable for the properties in rotor are temperature dependent in fact.
The material of the rotor is 30Cr1Mo1V steel and the corresponding properties are showed in Table.1.

The material of piezoelectric ring stack is PZT-4, and the size of the piezoelectric ring is Φ10×Φ5×2.
The material of the back slab is stainless steel, and the material of the front slab and ultrasonic horn is made of titanium which has small density and high tensile strength and elastic limit.
And the error of simulation may be originated from the material parameters and structure sizes, or the simplified model.
