Mathematical Models Mathematical Mode of Photovoltaic Cells: The photovoltaic cell is made by using the photovoltaic effect of semiconductor materials.

Introduction The rare-earth (RE) doping of Si and Si-related materials [1-8] in the last years has been extensively studied for the development of light-emitting devices in the Si-based optoelectronics initiated by the reports on the photoluminescence (PL) and electroluminescence (EL) centered at around 1.54 μm of Er3+ (4I13/2→4I15/2) in Si [9].
