With the progress of viscoelastic materials and damper structures, viscoelastic dampers are gradually used in earthquake engineering.
Parameters of Viscoelastic Dampers The properties of viscoelastic material have significant dependence of time, e.g. the material stress is not only a function of strain value, but also a function of strain history.
Loss factor η equals the ratio of shear loss modulus to shear storage modulus, which serves as an index to measure the energy dissipation capability of viscoelastic materials.
The area of viscoelastic material layer is 70mm by 40mm, and the thickness is 5mm.

Results and Discussions Solvent Extraction is a process which involves extracting oil from oil-bearing materials by treating it with a low boiler solvent.
It can be applied directly to any low oil content raw materials.
It can also be used to extract pre-pressed oil cakes obtained from high oil content materials.

Additionally, a good number of materials are necessarily employed in the oil exploitation, so the pollution will be more serious if an error occurs to the selection of materials.
These can be mainly reflected from the following four aspects: Protecting Environment In contrast to the early stage, the raw materials consumed by the oil industry in the modern society are increasingly more; the utilization efficiency of the engineering materials is reduced constantly.

The method is based on a layer-by-layer deposition of biocompatible materials successively forming a scaffold for living cells.
Materials such as polylactic acids (PLA), hydroxyapatite and bioactive glasses are in common use [1].
Therefore, the other candidate materials were investigated as additives to the main substance.
The materials typically used in the FDM approach are thermoplasitc polymers such as ABS and PLA.
The materials requires adequate heating of the extruder.

Introduction The growing demands of materials with high temperature capability in industries such as thermal power plants, transportation and materials processing have increased dramatically since early 1900s [1].
Materials with the necessary capability were rarely available and the importance of high temperature materials in determining equipment performance and reliability was gradually appreciated [2].
High temperature materials research in the metals and alloys area is still an extremely important field, and new alloy and composite materials are continually being developed for new applications.
In materials science and technology, high temperature can be defined as a temperature equals to, or greater than, approximately two-thirds of the melting point of a solid.
