Abstract.
Magnetization or susceptibility measurements on a superconductor detects signals arising from the circulating persistent shielding currents, in addition to the signals arising from the magnetic properties of the material, usually employing an inductive technique by Goldfarb et al. (1991) [7].

The magnetic properties of weights are only a source of uncertainty, if there exists an inhomogeneous ambient magnetic field or other magnetic materials are surrounding the weight, it will strongly disturb the measurement.
Nowadays the weights are mainly made of JF-1 nonmagnetic stainless steel(is zero)and paramagnetic material which susceptibility is less than 0.07.The latter materials used in the manufacture of mass standards are, in fact, weakly magnetic and but still may become magnetized[8].

As a result of the above, the purpose of the work is the production of new materials and technologies Synthesis of vacuum ion-plasma coatings with submicrocrystalline structure for protecting the surface of the structural materials.
