Validation of these tools on test cases, as well as some examples on actual materials, are shown and discussed.
X-ray Computerized Micro-Tomography (CMT) is an increasingly popular method for the 3D imaging of materials structures [16], and particularly of composite materials.

Interestingly, high concentrations of Fe in sediment were found at many stations with respect of the parent materials in this area.
Materials and Methods Study area and sampling design: The sampling sites were planned to cover the discharges from agricultural areas correlated to four upstream aquatic tracks (in let) of the reservoir.
Laboratory quality control: The accuracy of analytical method was calibrated using standard reference materials, SRM 1646a, for sediment from the National Institute of Standard and Technology (NIST) [11], with 6 samples of blank.

Introduction Wood materials are one of four major building materials (steel, concrete, plastic, wood materials).
It is non-toxic, harmless, is the only renewable and sustainable utilization of "green materials" [1-5] with energy saving features and the role of optimizing the social structure of the material [6].
Materials and Methods The wood Materials Experimental wood materials were collected in November 2008 in the West Campus of Guangxi university, was identified as Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam wood (age 11 years) by professor XuFeng worked in forestry College of Guangxi University. The sample was collected from different parts (top, cadres and the base) of the wood.

In general, DSSC consists of semiconductor materials and dye as a photoanode, a catalyst at the counter electrode, and an electrolyte.
The DSSC consists of a photoanode (dye molecule and semiconductor material), electrolyte, and a counter electrode.
The porosity, shape, and size of the scattering material affect the resulting scattering characteristics.

Due to its lower cost and ease of operation, high velocity oxy-fuel (HVOF) thermal spraying has been widely adopted in many industries for the protective coating of various materials.
Experiments Materials and Preparations A commercially available HVOF system - Sulzer–Metco DJ 2600 spray system - was employed to spray WC/Co powder on the work-pieces.
