Introduction
Zinc Oxide (ZnO) is a wide band gap semiconductor which becomes one of the most studied materials due to its superior properties, such as great transparency to visible light and strong luminescence at room temperature.
It is well known that the weakness of GGA is band gap underestimation, especially for strongly correlated materials such as ZnO.

Material and methods Materials 3, 4-dichloro phenylhydrazine hydrochloride is prepared according to reference 7.
Conclusions 1-(3,4-dichloropheny)-3-methyl-pyrazolone-5-one (34DCPMP) was produced successfully by using 3,4-dichloro phenyl hydrazine hydrochloride(DCPH) and ethyl acetoacetate as the raw material in aqueous medium.
