Under the influence of load rate, the sea ice can perform as ductile or brittle materials, and exhibits a transition between the two cases in crushing failures[5].
It can divide the continuous materials into discrete element with bonding function, then model the breakup process of the continuum.
The discrete element model for granular materials simulation was established in the 1970s, and has been improved recently.

Introduction Co-based alloys are of considerable technological importance as the basis of high-temperature alloys, as well as magnetic materials with high saturation magnetization, which makes the materials widely used in established military and commercial gas turbine engines for combustion cans, transition ducts and other high temperature components.
In recent years, a series of Co-based amorphous or nanocrystalline alloys such as CoSi [2,3] have been studied as better materials for hydrogen storage.

During the cooling process, the temperature distribution in the strip can be calculated using the governing partial differential equation shown as follows: (1) where, y and z are coordinates on transverse and thickness direction, respectively; is the density; is the temperature dependent specific heat; is the temperature dependent thermal conductivity of the material; T and t are temperature and time, respectively; and is the rate of heat generation term due to phase transformation.
