Theoretical calculations
Geometry of 1−carboxyl−4−amino−2−aza−3−oxo−[2.2.2] bicyclooctane was fully optimized by using density functional theory (DFT) with Becke`s three−parameter hydrid exchange function [8] and the Lee−Yang−Parr correlation function (B3LYP) [9] and with the 6−31+G(d, p) basis set [10] method in Gaussian 03 package [11].
