The peak at lower temperature region (350 – 450 °C) reflects the first stage of reduction for reaction in Eq. 3 and in agreement with Sharma et al. [11] and C.
Feng Cheng et al. [12] whose reported that the reduction of NiO to Ni was started at temperature above 500 °C and completed as T = 700 °C.
Both peaks were representing the reduction of Co3O4 (Eq. 4) and CoO (Eq. 5) as discussed by Shouli et. al. [13].
The reducibility NiO become lesser after loading with Co was also in agreement with Zhu et al. [16] as Co doping lowered the reducibility of lattice oxygen of Ni species.
