In the demanding era, we need more and more efficient materials for device fabrication.
For bulk materials, the bulk atoms dominate the properties of the materials whereas, in nanomaterials the surface atoms play a vital role in determining its properties.
This has been achieved by the capping of the nanocrystallites with organic and inorganic materials.
Starch based materials have been used as substituent for petroleum-based plastic material especially in packaging industries and thus offer an alternative solution to the disposal and biodegradability problem of petroleum based materials [27].

Introduction As a wide-band-gap semiconductor, ZnO has direct band gap energy of 3.37eV and an excitation banding energy of 60meV [1], which is much larger than those of other semiconductor materials such as GaN (25meV) and ZnSe (22meV).
Most ZnO materials have two PL emission peaks at UV (about 380nm) and green (about 510nm) wave band, respectively.

Over a prolonged period of time, the current during the titanium anodization (as well as other materials which have similar response, [19]) presents three distinct current response patterns: a current decay in an exponential manner, a longer timed-scale increase and a final quasi-steady step [18].
