To study the impact response characteristics of multilayer structure, cantilever-type electrothermal actuators based on MEMS, a composite cantilever-beam model consisting of two layers of materials, SiO2 and Al, is built.
The structure model of actuator [4,5] (Fig.1) consists of two layers of materials: Al and SiO2.
Simulation and Analysis of Impact Response The Model Sizes and Material Parameters.
The material parameters are listed in the Table 2.

Introduction Fracture mechanics is typically used for the prevention of failure by fracture in materials and structures containing defects.
The fracture toughness as compared to elastic-plastic material properties depends on the specimen size, crack depth, geometry and loading conditions [1].
Material and testing procedures The material is from pressure vessels and piping structures with Chinese designation 20g with the chemical composition of C 0.21, Si 0.34, Mn 0.59, S 0.03, Cr 0.04, Al 0.44 and Mo 0.05.

In the present research work we aimed to analyse performance of thin film based bimetallic materials for plasmonic response.
For getting highly performing bimetallic SPR materials at low cost, Cu thin film was used as one of the basic thin film.
The optimal thickness depends on the nature of the materials used for the SPR analysis.
