Abstract.
Many factors affecting the silicon content in hot metal, including material properties, loading method, air volume, air temperature, weight, oxygen blowing amount and each parameter exists between the mutual influences.

2 Specimens, materials and mix
Home-made SSC was used in this paper, silica fume and microbead is produced by Gui zhou Haitian ferroalloy abrasive co., LTD and Yun nan, respectively.
The chemical compositions of three kinds of materials were shown in table 1.
Hydration products of SSC mainly ettringite and gypsum crystals, trace amounts of calcium hydroxide and a small amount of materials such as gypsum that does not participate in the reaction ,it does not observe obvious characteristic peak of calcium hydroxide in SSC paste .
