The most common grouting material is cement-based grout whose solidification time is long (6-10 hours) because the cement hydration reaction is slow.
The reason is that the UDEC software is able to simulate the failure process of granular material, which is suitable for the sandy-pebble stratum.

Assumptions are made for calculating the slope seismic performance: (1) Only gentle slope is calculated, slope angle is not exceed 5o, and (2) Deposits are composed with layered soil, each with separate characteristics, such as thickness, material parameters, and (3) Soil skeleton is pore-elastic material and compressible, diffusion and dissipation of excess pore pressure is ignored during earthquake, and (4) Earthquake-induced shear waves propagate vertically and only ordinary wave loads are considered.
