a ychxang@sohu.com, bxtfeng@whrsm.ac.cn) Key words: deformation prediction, genetic programming, genetic algorithm, time series analysis Abstract: Affected by rheologic property of geo-materials and many other engineering factors, deformation of geotechnical structures is commonly characterized with complex nonlinear dynamic behavior.
However, affected by rheologic property of geo-materials and many other engineering factors, geotechnical deformation is highly time-dependent and commonly characterized with complex nonlinear dynamic behavior.
Under the conditions that constitutive law of geo-materials and the uncertainty and randomicity of engineering parameters are far from well-known, it is very difficult to develop accurate physical-based model to calculate and predict the dynamic behavior.
