Abstract: We have studied the coercive force of fine magnetic CoPt dot enhanced by nanometer-sizing of the dot.
Since Hosaka et al. introduced the EB drawing system comprised of a field-emission (FE) electron gun for the emission of very fine Gaussian beam [5], we have demonstrated to form very fine dot arrays on Si substrate with a pitch of 18 x 18 or 20 x 20 nm2 using calixarene negative resist [2, 6, 7].

Selective doping of TiO2 with elements such as Fe [9], Co [10], Al [11], W [12] and other elements might enable it to achieve better electrical and optical properties for their practical applications.
Similar study has been reported for Al:TiO2 in literature [11].
Mechiakh et al. [21] have reported the absence of the TM modes in the thin films TiO2 prepared by the sol-gel process from the tetrabutyl orthotitanate solution as precursor.
However, Mugnier et al. [22] have obtained single-mode waveguides in TE and TM from a single layer of TiO2 and multimode from multilayer (4 layers) TiO2.
