According to the double interference absorptive theory [14], the film structure of solar selective absorbing coating from substrate to surface consists of an IR-reflective metallic layer, a high metal volume fraction(HMVF) cermet layer and a low metal volume fraction(LMVF)layer (as the double interference absorption layers), and a transparent ceramic anti-reflection (AR) layer.

Because of the excellent set of good it carries, the Taguchi design has been employed extensively particularly as a design response in a 25 Taguchi plan analysis (TPA) in the generation of cyclodextrin glucanotransferase (CGTase) as well as in engineering and biology [28–29].

The use of building materials based on highly available natural resources, obtained locally and processed using simple techniques, such as those based on raw earth, can constitute a strategy for greater energy efficiency in buildings and for reducing CO2 emissions, in comparison with conventional materials (steel, concrete, aluminum, ceramics), intensive in energy and emission of pollutants (Melià et al., 2014).
