Abstract: Internal friction of 2D C/SiC composites fabricated by chemical vapor infiltration (CVI)
method was measured by dynamical mechanical analysis (DMA) at different frequencies from room
temperature (RT) to 400°C in air atmosphere.
Damping, i.e. internal friction, can give information about the change of internal structure, for instance, defects and cracks of matrix materials, debonding and sliding at interphase and so on[9-15].

Rare earth tungstates, which introduce rare-earth metal atoms into tungsten compound, has attracted much attention because of their excellent luminescence characteristics as the fluorescent materials, phosphors, optical fibers, solid state laser material, stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) applications for their superior luminescence properties [3, 4].
