Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship Study of Radical Scavenging Peptides Based on Orac Method by Using Different Sets of Amino Acids Descriptor Yao-Wang Li, Bo Li* College of Food Science and Nutritional Engineering China Agricultural University Beijing, China libo@cau.edu.cn Keywords:Quantitative structure – activity relationship, PLS, Antioxidant peptide, Descriptors, Radical scavenging activity Abstract. Some radical scavenging peptides by ORAC method from different hydrolysates were used for the quantitative structure-activity relationships (QSAR) research.
Thus, a number of antioxidant peptides, normally composed of 3 to 16 amino acid residues, are forming the research materials in order to gain insight into the antioxidant mechanism of peptides.
Therefore, the key issue is to choose the most appropriate amino acid descriptors.
Materials and methods A.Dataset prepared The dataset contains 23 samples coming from different published literatures and the antioxidant activities were measured by ORAC method (including ovotransferrin, α- and β- lactoglobulin) [43-45] (Table I).
Obviously the position N2, C4, N4, N3, C1, C3, C2, and N1 are significant and play a key role in contributing to activity of peptide.

Rotational speed and Noise Level due to Distribution Oil Window size of Three Type Pumps Wen desheng, Wang zhili, Lv shijun, Sun jiangbo and Du libin Engineering Academy of Yanshan University, Qinhuangdao, Hebei, China chily666@163.com Keywords: Axial piston pump, Distribution oil window, Rotational speed, Noise level Abstract.
Based on the results of previous studies, we can see that many researchers worked hard on material analysis, heat treatment methods, and frictions design with the targets of solving the problems such as the PV values of material, heat treatment hardness, lubrication of frictions, and the balance of supporting forces, in order to increase the rotation rate of pumps.
In fact, as hydraulic pumps with the purpose for hydraulic transmission, the results above are the key issues in enhancing rotational speed only when the flow size is large enough.
In this case, no matter how we change the material, heat treatment methods, or the design of frictions, and pumps can not work regularly (Here the conditions mean without input pressure).

Introduction The axially moving structures have received a great deal of attention due to their manifestation in a wide class of engineering fields.
The known exception is that Wickert [10] used a perturbation method to investigate the fundamental frequency of axially moving materials from a nonlinear integro-partial-differential equation of transverse vibration.
The principle of transform in engineering is to find a different representation of a signal under investigation.
