Introduction Human-like collagen (HLC), expressed by recombinant E. coli BL21 containing HLC cDNA, is water-soluble and has a tri-helix structure [1].The advantages of HLC such as low immunogenicity and no virus risk have made it to be a novel biomedical material used as hemostatic material, a novel scaffolding biomaterial for artificial bones, skin tissues and vascular tissues etc. [2].
Materials and Methods 1 Microorganisms and medium Recombinant E. coli BL21, producing HLC, carries a plasmid containing a kanamycin resistance gene and allows high temperature induction and preserved in our laboratory [6].

The initial researches about variable thickness tube drawing were published by Guillot et. al [1] about experimental studies on the production of variable thickness tubes in the radial and/or axial directions and mechanical properties of tube material after variable thickness drawing.
However, in production of complex geometries, the axial feeding can not have sufficient effect in feeding the material into the zones with more inflation especially if this region is located after the bent region.
