Materials and specimens of nail joints To guarantee that nail joints test would obtain the data which could really reflect the connection characteristics of wood frame shear walls, all the materials adopted in nail joints test and those of frame shear walls were identical.
Test materials included nails, timber and OSB plates.

Commercial application of these microbes as biosorbents, however, has been hindered by problems associated with physical characteristics of these materials such as small particle size with low density, poor mechanical strength, rigidity, and solid–liquid separation.
Experimental Procedure Materials Powdered activated carbon in the experiments (BET surface area: 900m2/g; aperture: 190nm; porosity: 800; iodine value: 600mg/g) was purchased from Qingdao Original Zoology Activated carbon Co., Qingdao, China.

Combining the numerical simulation with experiments, the fabrication scheme with machining gap gradient is adopted and the microstructure array with a feature size of 25mm and a height variance from 12mm to 24mm within 2mm distance has been produced successfully Principle and fabrication scheme Basics of through-mask EMM EMM is a controlled anodic dissolution process and possesses significant advantages, such as no tool wear, stress-free, high throughput, smooth surfaces, and the ability to machine complex shapes in materials regardless of their hardness, or whether they are heat-resistant materials[7,8].
The parameters of the materials are as follows: the resistivity of the anodic metal copper is 1.7×10-8Ω.m, the resistivity of the cathodic metal Aluminum is 2.9×10-8Ω.m, the resistivity of the photoresist is 1.0×108Ω.m, the resistivity of the electrolyte is 133Ω.m, the Va=2V.

In this industry like in other industrial fields, development of new refractory materials is thus one of the actual world challenges.
Materials The Cr-Ni-Al alloys were synthesized by melting metal pieces in a HF furnace, in a chilled copper crucible.
Chromium, nickel and aluminum raw materials are of commercial-purity (>99.9%).

In order to have a suitable circulatory system of clod side, to build the model of circulatory system of cold side by CATIA, it adopts fluid simulation software CFdesign to access to simulation of temperature field Introduction Since thermoelectric conversion was discovered , main research direction of most of scholars is how to seek efficient thermoelectric conversion materials , but how to control was as little consideration, which might due to limited research on the thermoelectric conversion model and the temperature difference in the ideal theoretical conditions[1]~[3].
Hi-Z had used HZ13 module with the power of each module up to 13 W.That is to say, the module condition is more mature, so we maybe pay attention to ,which is affected by Material itself, thermal conductivity, thermal radiation and the current generation of Joule heat, so the cold side also needs a system to control its temperature.
Now in order to save time and materials, ultimately having an idealized system, it adopts technology of computer simulation.

The thruster would be fabricated from ultra high temperature materials and operated as a heat exchanger with the propellant[2,3].
In addition, a new ultra-high temperature material (tri-carbide) has the potential to allow greater Isp than 1000 seconds[4,5].
With the material property of platelet and propellant and boundary condition on the discrete model, when the evolution equation is iterated to steady state, the temperature and flow field of the thruster’s platelet exchanger can be calculated out.

It is considered that these results are depending on the difference of bond materials.
Since vitrified wheels are made by brittle material, the fracture of bond for vitrified wheel is occurred easily comparing with one for resinoid wheel.
