Micro electro-discharge machining (micro-EDM) has become a widely accepted non-traditional material removal process for fabrication of micro-holes in difficult-to-cut but conductive materials effectively and economically [3].
Micromechanical drilling has the advantages of high efficiency, not confined to materials electroconductibility and relatively high machining precision.
