Stress and System Energy in Erosion Process for Brittle Materials Xiaoqing Lian1,a, Xiumei Feng1,b, Mingxue Jiang1,c 1School of Material Science and Engineering, Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology,Xi’an ,Shanxi,710055, China alianxiaoqing0304@126.com, bfengxm1973@126.com, cmingxuejiang@163.com, Keywords: Solid Particle Erosion, Stress, System Energy, Impact Angle, Brittle Materials, Finite Element Method Abstract.
The latest prediction equations for erosion of ceramic materials were proposed by Y.I.Oka[7],which were verified in cases of metallic materials.
Although many studies on the solid particle erosion of brittle materials may be found[5-10], most of their targets were homogeneous materials.
They were heterogeneous brittle materials other than homogeneous brittle materials.
The erosion rate of brittle materials is at its maximum at normal incidence at room tempetature [5-10], which is different from ductile materials whose maximun erosion rate occurs at shallow impact angles.

Experimental The materials Li1+xV3O8 were prepared by LiOH, NH4VO3 and C2H5NO2.
The materials Li1+xV3O8 were spreaded on Al foils and dried under vacuum.
Therefore, the materials prepared via this new method show better capacity retention, and the cycle life of the material with a V/C2H5NO2 ratio of 1.0/1.0 remains the best .

Experiments The absorption coefficient is the efficiency of materials on sound absorption, a common characteristic of building or sound insulation materials.
For natural sound absorptive materials, most materials were made in form of fiber, compacted as board or as flexible layers [12–14].
