Introduction The traffic safety is the goal of rail transport, and railway turnout systems are one of the most critical equipments in railway infrastructure.
Accordingly, being able to detect the presence and location of faults accurately, especially that it could predict problems with an incipient failure, is very meaningful, since it could ensure a normal turnout conversion and the railway traffic safety.
To overcome the uncertainty of prediction method based on historical data, and to meet the stringent requirements of railway system for traffic safety, the curve exact matching method accurately determine the correctness of under-test curves.
