Structural Properties of Pb1-xMnxTe Alloys A.
INTRODUCTION Pseudobinary alloys PbTe-MnTe, or Pb1-xMnxTe, with a rock salt structure, are narrow band gap semiconductors [1-3].
The aim of our work was to investigate the structural properties of Pb1-xMnxTe alloys as a necessary component for the better understanding these promising materials. 2.

The present study was undertaken to investigate the effect of metallurgical parameters on the hardness and microstructural characterisations of as-cast and heat-treated 356 and 319 alloys, with the aim of adjusting these parameters to produce castings of suitable hardness and Fe-intermetallic volume fractions for subsequent use in studies relating to the machinability of these alloys.

Alloy EN AW-6056 T4 (Alcan), which is widespread in the aircraft industries, was used for the aluminium side of the structure.
This effect results from the heat treatment state of the aluminium alloy 6056 T4 prior to welding.
However the laser affected zone in titanium structure (HAZ, IZ) and aluminium alloy have to be minimized for increasing joint properties.

Heat treatable aluminum alloys and other alloys with similar properties are the most widely used light alloys in aeronautical construction [1-3].
The aim of this paper is to establish the development regime of elaboration - casting and homogenization processing for high purity heat treated wrought 2xxx aluminum alloys.
This series has as main alloying elements Cu, Mg and Mn (these alloys are hardenable alloys by heat treatment).

Additionally, the production of intermetallic compounds is cost-based in terms of both material resources and money.
Introduction It is well-known that intermetallic compounds are widely used in various fields of science and technology.
Nonetheless, the problem of obtaining the intermetallic compounds is still relevant because of the fact that the bond between atoms in the lattice becomes covalent or ionic.
In addition, the obtaining of intermetallic compounds is very cost-based in terms of both material resources and money.

For the determination of the technological parameters of bending of pipe subjected to internal pressure the have been established the following formulas [4]: (1) where: σr [MPa] is fracture resistance of material; h [m] – pipe wall thickness; ri [m] – pipe inner radius; kp – reduction coefficient,: kp = 0.48...0.55 for steel and kp = 0.52...0.58 for aluminum alloys [5]; kl – cold-hardening coefficient
After bending pipes are used for various industrial installations, this paper aims to improve the quality of bended pipes used.
In condition of compound request, is will be noted with p and M the action of the inner-pressure, respectively the action of the bending moment.
Materials used for the simulations were conducted the pipes are AISI 1035 steel and 1060 type aluminum alloy.

The aim of this work is to produce a 2219 alloy billet with the diameter of 880mm by applying I-EMS DC casting successfully.
The results show that Cu element is rejected by the solid phase and then usually in form of compounds and distributed at the grain boundaries, thus it is solute-depleted in the grains.
