There are many health and environmental problems occurred from e-waste such as the toxic pollution from materials such as cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury, beryllium and many more.
There are several methods for the metal recovery from waste materials or by-product.
There are still very limited literatures on the e-waste management, handling and recovery process of hazardous materials in Malaysian e-waste industry.

In practical design applications, most design variables such as thickness, diameter and material properties are not deterministic but stochastic numbers that can be represented by their mean values with variances because of various uncertainties.
However, the occurrence of uncertainty in design and its design process such as material properties, tolerances, loads and manufacturing process is inevitable at every stage of design process.

Introduction Standard silica sand is one of the important materials in preparing mortar in the testing of hydraulic cement quality.
Rw = rRN = rR.N (1) with: Rw : roundness r : radius of each individual corners R : radius of biggest imaginer circle inside particle N : number of individual corners The roundness of Sidrap sands before and after milling, as well as Ottawa sand were also measured in two laboratories: (a) Laboratory of Minerals and Materials, Sucofindo, Jakarta, and (b) Laboratory of Petrology, Study Program of Geological Engineering, Faculty of Earth Sciences and Technology, ITB, Bandung.

Fire tests on protected concrete elements The fire behavior of protected concrete elements was studied with four fire tests conducted on the small horizontal furnace at EMPA (Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology) in Dübendorf.
This confirms the validity of the material properties assumed for the HPC tested in fire.
