In the tunnel project, the main uncertainty factors with various project backgrounds include geographic size uncertainties, initial conditions uncertainties, boundary uncertainties, materials parameter uncertainties, load uncertainties and calculation model uncertainties.
The others (e.g. surrounding and lining materials parameters) have minimal impact, called non-sensitive factors.

If all of the non-value stream in drop-parts in Surface Mounted Technology (SMT), scrap material, repeatedly testing, waiting for raw material, unnecessary transporting, unnecessary stock, and every defective in usage are removed, everything is done well in the first time, then the value stream flows from raw material to customer.
The top one is related to the assembly in production line, and then PCB printing file issue, testing failure, packing failure, purchasing material and raw material issue.

New Techniques of Safety Assessment for Defects in Pressure Vessels The traditional safety assessments for pressure vessels’defects need deep theoretical knowledges in the fields of fracture mechanics, materials science and nondestructive testing, which makes the process a little difficult.
Defect’s size, fracture properties of materials, working loads are the main variables in pressure vessel’s failure analysis.
It is a new inspection technology of the in service equipments and it developed from the technologies of failure analysis, computer science and the research of material damage mechanism.
