Abstract
This work deals with Al-Cu thin films, deposited onto glass substrates by RF (13.56MHz) magnetron sputtering, and annealed at 773K.
The role of these compounds can have a particular interest in the improvement of the intrinsic properties of a material by conferring on it a better thermal stability and a good corrosion resistance.
Using bulk material minimizes oxygen introduction into the films.
Harper IBM Journal of Research and Development, 3 (1998) 42V 2.
