U75V material rail is used to experiment, the number of cycles of rail roller is 106 ,and the speed of rail roller is about 160km/h,friction coefficient is 0.3.
(5) As all said above, equation (4) can reflect preferably the variation of rail wear when others factors such as materials, contact circumstance etc, are not be considered, but only the curve radius and axle load .It is feasible to forecast rail wear volume, using friction work in some condition of curve radius and axle load calculated by CONTACT and equation (4),and some experiment research work will be replaced too.
The result of experiment and numerical calculation is indicated that rail wear volume is severe in heavy axle load and small curve radius conditions. when other factors such as rail materials, wheel speed is assured, using friction work in some condition of curve radius and axle load calculated by CONTACT and empirical equation, and some experiment research work will be replaced.

Materials and experimental procedure The study was carried out in order to establish the physical mechanisms of the influence of the TP of the ingots on the mechanical properties of Al-Mg-Mn-Sc-Zr aluminum alloy semiproducts.
Thus, for the metal of an ingot without TP the texture of the material is stronger.

As a rule, the estimation of the residual life of a vertical steel tank does not account for mechanical properties of the materials and specific operation conditions.
The application of such norms to estimation of residual life of vertical steel tanks with surface non-through cracks can lead to unreasonably overestimated volume of repair works, which in turn increases both the maintenance duration and material expenses.
This testifies the reasonability of a differentiated approach to the determination of ultimate defect dimensions with due consideration of the tank operation conditions, stress-strain state of the structure, mechanical properties of the material, etc.
The wall material is steel A516-55.

Introduction Vibration isolators made of Metal Rubber (MR) material have found numerous applications in the supporting structure of electronic equipments or rotors in spacecraft's engine since they are capable of attenuating heavy shock and absorbing broad band vibration.
The following conclusions can be made: The dry friction damping was the dominant mechanism for energy dissipation of MR material, which was generated by relative slip between adjacent wires.
