Thermal spray coating technologies play a key role in fabricating hard layers based on ceramic, metal - ceramic and further multiphase materials.
Special aspects in manufacturing engineering are addressed with particular importance not only of the influence of spray process parameters on coating properties but also of spray torch kinematic and robot trajectories on hardness, residual stress distributions, dimensional tolerances and porosity distributions will be discussed.
For ceramic materials a further improvement could be achieved by introducing suspension spraying.

Therefore, the steel-bonded carbide is a new engineering material between alloy steel and cemented carbides, which has been widely used in tools, molds and wear-resistant parts and so on [4-8].
Engineering materials must be designed and manufactured in accordance with the application conditions to embody the properties of the materials extremely [9-10].

Various types of porous media materials were used as a heat transfer media, i.e. 25mm ceramic saddles, random size bio-filter media from MTEC, ceramic foam, and ceramic balls.
Due to brittleness of the ceramic foam material, the lower area of the furnace is filled with the ceramic saddle.

The ceramic ball is inside bearing, and the contact area of ceramic ball connected with lubricating oil is small, so the convective heat transfer coefficient is small, then the temperature of ceramic ball is the highest.
Fig. 7 Cross section temperature curve of the bearing inner ring Summary In this paper, three-dimensional model of high-speed hybrid ceramic angular contact ball bearing is established By Pro/ENGINEER, the heat generation rate and convective heat transfer coefficient of bearing are calculated, then temperature field of hybrid ceramic angular contact ball bearing is simulated by using finite element method.
