Introduction Nanotechnology is a unique branch of science that deals with materials in a very small size between (1-100 nm) with different crystal shapes such as spherical nanoparticles, nanorods, nanoplatelets, nanoribbons, and flower-like.
Semiconductor materials were mainly interesting due to their great practical importance in optoelectronic devices and electronic such as magnetic storage devices, catalytic activity, catalase mimic, electro chemical cell [16-19], and at crystalline structure of the prepared CuO was characterized by diffraction (XRD), Atomic force microscopy (AFM) and antimicrobial application [20].
Our study aimed to prepare copper oxide (CuO) nanoparticles using inexpensive materials, by famous way (Sol-Gel) and estimate the surface morphology of the nanoparticles.

Materials and Methods Materials used in this research were aniline (C6H5NH2), ammonium persulfate ((NH4)2S2O8), Hydrochloric acid (HCl), deionized water, sodium dodecyl sulfate (NaC12H25SO4), sodium Octyl sulfate (NaC8H17SO4), Perchloric acid (HClO4), ammonium hydroxide (NH4OH), methanol (CH3OH) and Tetrahydrofuran (C4H8O).
