Introduction Silicon carbide (SiC) is regarded as a promising semiconductor material for novel devices requiring high-power, high-frequency, and high-temperature operations owing to its unique electrical and thermal properties (namely high breakdown field, high electron saturation drift velocity and high thermal conductivity [i]).
