This study is
devoted to the determination of these thermal residual stresses during cooling and mechanical
stresses on metal-ceramic bond, in order to find the reasons of metal-ceramic debonding and to
improve the restorations.

The finite element model was based on the specimen of three-point flexure bond test of ISO (international organization for Standardization) 9693.
It was favorable to the metal-ceramic bond and it could be regard as one part of the bond strength of metal-ceramic.
