Extracted vanadium residues used in this study was obtained from Chengde iron and steel corporation, it was residual slag after extracting vanadium from vanadium-bearing slag in sodium salt roasting and water leaching process.

AIM: To study the preparation and characterization of the Mn0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 (MZF) magnetic nanoparticles and the antitumor function of MZF nano magnetic fluid hyperthermia (NMFH) combined with As2O3 on GLC-82 cells.
Materials AND Methods 2.1 Materials MZF magnetic nanoparticles were prepared by the technique of chemical co-precipitation as describe below.
The GLC-82 cell strain was supplied by the cell institute of the Chinese Academy of Science.
