Cementitious materials such as Portland cement are hydraulic binders which are commonly used in the conditioning of radioactive waste.
Before geopolymerization takes place, the fly ash feed materials need to be characterized to determine factors contributing to its synthesis behavior and overall end product quality.
Materials and Methods The fly ash used in this study was obtained from Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Power Plant, Kapar Selangor and Sultan Azlan Shah Power Plant, Manjung, Perak.
Microstructure of materials analyzed using field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM).
Study also showed presence of 226Ra, 232Th, and 40K radioactivity in the fly ash which makes the feed materials slightly radioactive although still below the regulatory limit to be classified as such.

Workpiece materials were ADC12 and SS400.
Conventional tool materials made of carbon steel have been applied to the soft metals like aluminum alloy.
In the case of the welding between dissimilar metals, such as a welding between aluminum alloy and steel, tool material may be exposed to quite complex situations in the plastic flow of the dissimilar metal materials.
Journal Title and Volume Number (to be inserted by the publisher) much value of the offset into the steel often brought tool failure.

Introduction
In vitro studies in synthetic solutions are currently practised as a first stage in the assessment of the
in vivo surface behaviour of implantable materials [1,2].
Probably, the most popular solution to study the in vitro bioactivity of materials is the Simulated Body Fluid K#9 (SBF) proposed by Kokubo et al in the early nineties [3].
Materials and Methods HAP ceramic discs (9 mm diameter, 1 mm thick) and sol-gel glass discs (12 mm diameter, 2 mm thick) were obtained.
In SBF-dynamic the continuous ion supply allows to maintain constant local conditions for layer growth, although in materials with lower reactivity, like HAP, local supersaturation may be not be enough for HCA layer formation.
Marques thanks the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) for the doctoral grant PRAXIS XXI/BD/16157/98.

This means is widely applied in all kinds of research that using particles as raw materials, media and products.
In the research of life science, it can research on the cells and proteins, its structure can directly guide the research of clinical diagnosis and pathology.
Rational use of raw materials and energy, recycling, production of new materials, prevention of wear all associated with particle research.
As for the production of industry, particles are often used as materials and medium, therefore its shape features get more attention.
