The removal can be by various processes such as hydrodesulfurization and requires an appropriate energy demand, infrastructure and adsorbent materials, which increase the cost of process [6].
Thereby, it is important to seek alternative materials to reduce costs.
Materials and Methods Preparation and characterization of adsorbents.
Acknowledgement The authors thank the Postgraduate Program in Science and Engineering of Materials (PPGCEM/UFRN) and the National Petroleum Agency (ANP-PRH30) for financial support and the Environmental Technology Laboratory (LABTAM/UFRN) for the characterizations and tests carried out.

The polycrystal material can be considered as a mixture of materials in grain region and grain-boundary region.
Thus the total flow stress is a combination of the flow stresses of materials in these two regions.

Introduction Cellular materials can dissipate a large amount of kinetic energy at nearly constant stress during large deformation.
They can serve as effective and efficient energy absorbers to mitigate impact/blast loading if the base materials are properly selected and morphology of microstructures is well designed.
It can be seen that SKYDEX® has a similar performance with egg-box and woven textile materials, and outperforms aluminum foams.

Many of these nanotechnology applications need to engineer surface on which the nano-materials can build on.
Improvement of the accuracy of nano-feature shape needs controllable erosion methods which can remove excessive materials as required.
