The powder X-ray diffraction spectroscopy (pXRD) result shows an expansion of lattice parameter for FCC-Ni indicating the cooperation of Al atoms in Ni structures.
The increment value of lattice parameter in Ni-Al Nps compared to pure Ni explains an expansion of lattice parameter due to interstitial Al element in Ni structure.
Conclusions In conclusion, we have demonstrated a wet chemistry synthesis for the preparation of Ni-Al in the form of nanoparticles at the room temperature.

Cell Morphology on Nano-structured Surface
Because of the “droplet model” of the cells, they will show the immersed or non-immersed statuses on the nano-structured surface.
The nano-structure surface of the implants changed the cell morphology.
Therefore, the shape of cell fluid on the nano-structure surface affected its growth, and the nano-structured surface would improve the growth of the cells.

Conclusions In this work, we investigated the co-effect of water and toluene, as well as acetone on the morphology of PODS structure.

In order to evaluate Table 2: Samples prepared for adhesion evaluation
adhesion between the passivation layer and palladium, different structures (100x40x10 μm, 50x50x10 μm and 40x40x10 μm) were defined by lithography at the passivation level and subsequently used to perform shear adhesion measurements and water stress tests.
For this reason plasma treatments with a reducing chemistry (N2/H2) don’t change the chemical status of palladium (Sample B and Sample C).
Finally the second reducing treatment performed on Sample D highlights the deoxidizing capacity of this chemistry (Fig. 6, Sample D + N2/H2).
Starting from a completely oxidized palladium surface, N2/H2 chemistry and downstream plasma were able to reduce Pd-O until only Pd peaks were detected by XPS.
Biased plasma treatments resulted more effective due to the combined action of physical sputtering and chemistry.
