The different effect of chemical activators on mechanical properties and microstructure of cement-base repair materials were investigated.
To meet the strength require of the repair cement based materials, some methods must be tried to activate the potential reactivity of natural pozzolan.
In previous literatures [6-8], it has been found that the addition of proper activators can obviously increase the strength of cement based materials.
Experimental procedure Materials.
Milestone: submitted to Journal of Construction and Building Materials (2011) [3] Caijun Shi, Robert L.

The addition of both materials can improve concrete properties and reduce the cost of DSCC production.
The incorporations of both MIRHA and fly ash in DSCC as cement replacement materials are considered as a new type of concrete.
Both MIRHA and fly ash were used as cement replacement materials.
