In recent years, researches on dewpoint corrosion mainly focus on materials in laboratory trial.
Test section is made of several different materials which were welded together.
Therefore, experiment did research on metal corrosion rate of different materials with temperature changing to identify materials' tempera-ture range in engineering application, as showed in Figure.3-5.

Quartz belongs to the hard and brittle materials, which has the characteristics of high strength, not conductive, low fracture toughness and high hardness [1].
Considering the chemical etching processing principle of the quartz materials and the existing processing technology, HF, HF+CH3COOH, NH4HF2 and NH4F+HF dissolved solution are currently used.

Experimental Details
The materials tested were Grade 2 commercially pure titanium (0.024% N, 0.024% C, 0.16% O, 0.111% Fe, 0.001% H, Bal.
Moreover, the three materials showed a more important change of self-corrosion potential when temperature changed from 35 to 65°C than that from 0 to 35°C.
Accordingly, the corrosion rates (CRs) of the three materials increased slightly at temperature from 0 up to 35°C, and then CRs increased greatly above 35°C.
