The early investigation on phytoplankton of Fuxian Lake was by Institute of Hydrobiology, Academic the Chinese Science in July to October in 1957(Ley et al,1963).
Materials and methods The study area is located in the northern part of Fuxian Lake with geographic position of 24º 32'~24º 35' N, 102º 51'~102º 53' E. 6 stations on 4 month were selected for the investigation (Fig.1).
