Many studies have suggested that the supporting mode of the ball mill transformed from edge-transmission to centre drive, the distance between two bearings has greatly shortened, the rotator stress has been reduced quite a lot [2].However, with the increasing of the diameter, the ball mill works on heavier alternation load and bad atmosphere, the stress of the rotator should be further reduced [3].On the basis of the stress reduction, the thickness calculation should be considered.
Results There are great strength margin in the ball mill rotator according to the experience data.
Take M1max=8020 KN·m, M2max=6568 KN·m, T=1320 KN·m, W1=0.439 m3, where with the formula (2),the rotator thickness is reduced from 30mm to 16mm.Based on the data made above, we may safely come to the conclusion, the ball mill rotator thickness can be greatly reduced.

By adding nutrients, control of organic concentration of inffuent relatively stable (at 300 ~ 350 mg/L range), so the NH3-N concentration of influent is about 30 mg/L, hydraulic loading is 1.07 m3/m2●h (corresponding influent 4.0 L/h), then change air-water ratio to determinate relevant data.
In condition of COD concentration of inffluent maintained at 300 ~ 350 mg/L, NH3-N concentration maintained at about 30 mg /L, the air-water ratio 5:1, followed by changing the hydraulic loading on COD and NH3-N treatment the experimental data shown in Fig. 3.
Data show that distribution of aerobic heterotrophic bacteria microorganisms and autotrophic nitrification of degradation organic in the filler in the spatial is different.
Competitiveness of heterotrophic bacteria on nutrients and oxygen better than nitrifying bacteria, become the dominant strain at the bottom of space; reduction of the nutrition in the upper part decreased the number of heterotrophic bacteria, nitrifying bacteria carry out normal metabolic activity, so the active nitrifying bacteria in the upper layer in the filter column.
The air-water ratio is too large, the dissolved oxygen concentration in the filter did not increase, but more bubbles, making cross section area reduction, a direct result of hydraulic retention time shorter , treatment ineffective .
