If the metal-lattice bond energy is the lowest, the material dissolves, and the second stage may be referred to as complex ionization.
Analysis of methods used to study pitting corrosion also shows that electrochemical methods can produced quantitative data on how various factors affect the resistance of structural materials to pitting so as to predict such resistance.
As a rule, the primary pitting-resistance indicator is the pitting potential at which the material passivity is disturbed by sufficient concentrations of Cl ions [6].

For simplicity of the optimisation, it is assumed that rest of the legs have the same material and geometrical properties.
For this damaged mooring problem, the cost function can simply be taken as the cost of materials.
The first objective is the cost of the mooring legs, which is to minimise the cost of materials.

Abstract.
The main research are about improving the photocatalytic activity by some kinds of methods, such as better preparation technology, metal ion and nonmetal doping, surface sensitization, load coupling [2-4], and about degradation organic or inorganic substance by nano-TiO2 or antibacterial and purifying materials based on nano-TiO2 [5-7].

Abstract.
Introduction With the development of aerospace technology, flight speed of aircraft significantly increased, the ultra-high-temperature structural materials whose operating temperature exceeds that of conventional heat-resistant alloy are required.
Fig.2 shows bright-field TEM micrographs of the material in the as-sintered state.
The microstructure after tensile test at 1350℃(Fig.6a) is not obviously different from the microstructures of the as-sintered material.
Journal of Alloys and Compounds. 492(2010)236-240
