In view of this, as reported in [4], brush drive crawling mechanism is attractive for several reasons, for example, bidirectional capability, gaining higher level of gripping capability by varying brush features (length, numbers, and material), simple crawling mechanism with very high payload capacity, ease of passing pipeline bends and features (i.e., ovality, dents, etc.).
